Georgia Ready Mixed Association Strategic Priorities
GRMCA is the sole association in Georgia dedicated to the well-being of Georgia ready mix producers.
Critical Issues & Service
GRMCA is focused on identifying the most important issues facing our industry. We are committed to concentrating all of our resources on attacking and solving these “critical few” issues that matter first and foremost to ready mix producers. Whether it is hours of service, load limitations, tax exemptions, field testing or other issues, our goal is to provide services that assist our members in the operation of their businesses while delivering a positive bottom line impact.
GRMCA forges relationships with lawmakers and other industry groups who influence and participate in our industry. We are engaged at both the state and federal level and seek to build industry awareness and solidify relationships amongst our elected officials and regulators.
GRMCA also interfaces with various state agencies to ensure that state policy is executed appropriately and fairly towards our industry, as well as working with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) in order to convey our industry’s voice to our elected officials in Washington, D.C.
GRMCA is committed to providing broad and complete communication of our activities and our accomplishments. We strive to showcase the outstanding work that our people and our industry produce and to create a positive image of the concrete industry in the eyes of the public.
GRMCA supports its membership by collecting and reporting information, data breakdowns and statistics on the state of our markets. We also conduct surveys providing members feedback on operational expenses allowing members to make educated business decisions.
GRMCA seeks opportunities to actively promote the uses and benefits of ready mix concrete and its products, enhance industry and product image, and raise awareness for concrete product applications.
Education & Training
GRMCA is dedicated in fulfilling the future needs of our workforce through education and training. We accomplish this in higher education through scholarship opportunities and product donations for research. We are working to alleviate the driver shortage through unique partnerships. We also provide education and training on industry standards, safety, design applications, environmental compliance, and certification testing.
