This year we’re simplifying the awards process.  Project entries can now be submitted online. No more binders or printing out forms–just one click and you’re done!

Why should you submit a project? 

Submitting a project for consideration in the ACI Awards program is an opportunity to:

  • Promote your industry partners and share the good work they do
  • Share new technologies your organization is utilizing
  • Show off your organization’s expertise and ingenuity
  • Gain recognition as an industry leader invested in advancing the design and construction of concrete structures
  • Raise your business profile and garner new business contacts

Who is eligible? 

All architects, engineers, contractors, developers and industry-related professionals are eligible to enter this competition. Projects to be nominated must have been completed between January 1, 2012 and October 31, 2013 and be located in the state of Georgia.

How do you enter? 

To enter the ACI Awards Competition submit your project entry using the online entry form. In an effort to make the process more convenient for participants, ACI is no longer requiring project binders to be created. Simply complete the online form and attach 4 or more images with your entry.

What is the cost to enter? 

There is a $95 entry fee per project submission. You may pay online when submitting the project entry form. Checks should be made payable to Georgia Chapter, ACI and mailed to the address below. Please note, if payment is not received by the December 9, 2013, deadline, your entry will not be considered by our judging committee.

What is the deadline to enter? 

All project submissions must be received by end of day on December 9, 2013.

How are award winners chosen? 

Entries will be judged by a jury composed of experts in design, architecture, construction and restoration.  The jury will review all entries and decisions will be based only on the entry data information and materials submitted by each entrant.  No on-site judging will take place. Are there different project categories? 

Yes, there are multiple categories available for awards. Click here for a list and a guide to each project category.

Can I submit multiple projects?

Yes; there is no limit on the number of project entries you submit.

Do I have to submit a project entry online? 

For your convenience, we are now taking project submissions online. However, if you would prefer to send your awards entry in via mail you may do so. Please contact Elizabeth Harwood at eharwood@gaconcrete.org for more information.
