Design Assistance Program (DAP)

Parking Lot Design Assistance Program (DAP)

Considering designing a parking lot in concrete but have little experience doing so?  As a state affiliate of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), Georgia Ready Mixed Concrete Association (GRMCA) has the resources available to assist you through the design process.

What is it?

The Design Assistance Program (DAP) was created by the NRMCA to expand the paving market for ready mixed concrete producers and our concrete contractor customers.  As an industry, we often find the biggest obstacle to concrete pavement market growth is a lack of familiarity with concrete pavement design by many designers or specifiers.

What do I get?

This program provides detailed recommendations for concrete parking lot design, including CAD jointing recommendations, along with the opportunity for design consultation.

What types of projects can I use DAP for?

DAP recommendations are provided for conventional and pervious parking lots as well as concrete overlays and roller compacted concrete.

How much does it cost?

Zero. GRMCA is a state affiliate of the NRMCA, thus fees are waived for utilizing DAP.

How do I get started?

Simply fill out the online form below.  A small bit of information is required, although the more provided makes for a better design recommendations.
